The first SAS Starlink flight [Live Gaming Over the Arctic]

Today we’re flying Copenhagen to Copenhagen to test out the brand new SAS Starlink inflight internet. Not only are we flying nearly four hours up to the Arctic Circle and back, we’ll also be playing the world’s first air-to-ground game of Counter-Strike.

On top of that we’ll have plenty of fun testing out the new European business class service on SAS and doing several livestreams as well (let us know if you caught one of those on Instagram, YouTube or X). Oh and maybe most important of all, we’ll go find the Starlink button for you in the cockpit, and show you how pilots turn it on and off. So how fast is the Starlink WiFi? And what was this very special flight like? Watch to find out.

How Rolls-Royce Jet Engines Are Built

In this video we take you deep inside the Rolls Royce jet engine site in Derby, England to look at how these state-of-the-art jet engines are built, tested, inspected and improved. In particular we’ll be looking at the Trent 1000 (which powers the 787) and how Rolls Royce is improving reliability and durability by swapping out High Pressure Turbine components. We’ll also check out their most advanced engine inspection technology as we get a demo of their boroscoping method.

Today we join ‪@qatarairways‬ onboard its special F1 livery 777-300ER A7-BEG as it performs a low pass and flyby of the F1 Circuit at Lusail for the Qatar Grand Prix.
