Stunning helicopter flight to a glacier on Air Greenland’s AS350

In this video we take you along on a short but thrilling sightseeing flight from Ilulissat, all the way up the icefjord to the calving edge of the glacier at its easter edge.

The flight is onboard one of Air Greenland’s Eurocopter AS350 helicopters, a versatile and agile member of its fleet. The AS350 is used for everything from sightseeing flights like these, to mining operations, medical flights and more. A rare opportunity to see the stunning icy landscape around Ilulissat, above the Arctic Circle in Greenland, from 4,000 feet.

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo
