In this video we do a direct comparison of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Ryanair on their domestic Swedish services between Stockholm and Skellefteå. Ryanair recently set up a base at Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and is offering European services as well as domestic flights.
And when we looked at flights up to Swedish Lapland Ryanair was offering fares that were roughly one-fifth the price of SAS, which has often been pretty expensive on domestic flights! It’s great that SAS is challenging SAS with lower fares, but how is the experience? Is it worth the money saved? Or could SAS really be five times better, and worth shelling out the extra cash for? Join us on this quick run up to Skellefteå (SFT) and back to find out!
