Next best thing to private? Fantastic JSX ERJ-135 flight from Burbank to Oakland

In this video we take a very fun short hop on the JSX (formerly known as JetSuiteX) Embraer ERJ-135 from Burbank (BUR) to Oakland (OAK). And we’re sitting in the back row on this one for maximum engine noise and views.

The 55-minute flight is a perfect introduction to this semi-private jet offering, where what you really get is a commercial flight with extra legroom and most importantly, no need to go through the airport terminal at either end. Watch to see the departure lounge in a hangar, the comfortable interiors, and another screaming jet engine takeoff from the back row of this sporty E-jet. The typically fast climbs out of Burbank make this even more fun.

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo
