In this video we take you deep inside the Rolls Royce jet engine site in Derby, England to look at how these state-of-the-art jet engines are built, tested, inspected and improved. In particular we’ll be looking at the Trent 1000 (which powers the 787) and how Rolls Royce is improving reliability and durability by swapping out High Pressure Turbine components. We’ll also check out their most advanced engine inspection technology as we get a demo of their boroscoping method.
