Gotta love a jet engine in your ear: Delta 717 back row flight from Chicago to Detroit!

In this video we take a quick ride on a very special plane, the Delta 717, from Chicago (ORD) to Detroit (DTW). And although we could have sat in First Class right up at the whisper-quiet front for $40 more, just for you we’ve sat ourselves in 27A, directly next to the engine inlet, for a special jet-powered symphony and extra fun views.

There’s no service on this flight whatsoever, but Delta still managed to impress. And the mild (probably temporary) hearing damage was all worth it. Tune in to find out what made this flight so great, apart from that engine view of course.

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
