Today join Gabe as he boards the very special annual SAS Destination Unknown flight to a mystery city in Europe. Passengers have to be quick to grab a seat when these go on sale, and the payment is made with Eurobonds points. Those lucky enough to get onboard are treated to a three day trip to a city that will be a complete surprise to them, as well as a bunch of activities on the ground as a group. It’s a really fun thing they’re doing, now in its second year. Come along and see if you can guess where we’re headed, and see how wrong most of the guesses in our vicinity of the aircraft were.

Bonus: a total party onboard, unlike anything you’ve ever seen onboard a Scandinavian Airlines A320neo, including a DJ in the aisle. AND a nice wet and windy landing into the destination. And you thought we’d be landing somewhere nice and sunny (so did we)!

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
