Welcome to part 4 of the Africa Adventure series in which Gabe now heads from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to Johannesburg, South Africa – on yet another Embraer ERJ-145. This time we’re flying Fastjet, the easyJet of Africa as some have called it.

Big surprise: this low-cost airline beats the service offerings of most so-called full service airlines in the US and Europe, with free snacks and drinks and a fresh and clean cabin. Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
