In this video we head to Skellefteå, in the north of Sweden, to try flying an electric airplane. It’s the two-seater Pipistrel Velis Electro and it’s being used as a trainer aircraft at the brand new Green Flight Academy, a flight school that aims to remake flight training – starting with drastically reducing its emissions.

We get a look at their facilities and take the Velis Electro for a half-hour flight lesson. Can we land it on the first try?

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
