In this video we go behind the scenes with Transavia France at Paris Orly, where Gabe meets up with one of its A320NEO crews for the pre-flight briefing (and a keychain exchange), then shadows them on the ramp and in the flight deck jumpseat for the rest of the day as they operate a roundtrip to Catania and back.

There’s all kinds of great material here: from the gorgeous A320NEO itself, to some of the classic details at Orly, to the views inflight from takeoff to a dusk landing in Sicily, to the nighttime return back complete with the Eiffel Tower. Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.

We’re going transatlantic on the workhorse Dash 8-200 with Air Greenland – flying from the brand new Nuuk International Airport in Greenland to Reykjavik’s Keflavik Airport in Iceland (KEF). And we’re sitting in the jumpseat which means we have 3 hours on this very-long-haul-for-a-turboprop over the ice cap and remote east Greenland plus the Atlantic Ocean.
