Join Gabe as he gets an Etihad A350-1000 to himself. We’re at Etihad Engineering and we have access to the A350 as it prepares for an A check/light maintenance. That means there’s plenty of time to gather beauty shots of the exterior and do a full cabin tour inside.

Gabe breaks down the best seats in both economy and business class including scoping out the best choice for optimal engine view up front. And as a bonus we’ll head outside in the heat to take a look at a 777-300ER and an A321neo (ex-Bamboo Airways) both undergoing maintenance as well.

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
