We go onboard flydubai’s new 737MAX, test out the lie-flat business class seat and get to the bottom of why the airline is now installing a second type of business seat on some future deliveries. We also speak with flydubai CEO Ghaith al Ghaith. We then head over to Etihad’s flying sustainability lab, the 787-10 “Greenliner” which the airline is using to trial all manner of eco-friendly initiatives, both onboard and in the flight deck. Next we take a tour on Boeing’s 737MAX ecoDemonstrator, and hear about Boeing’s take on how best to get to net-zero. We then head over to the military side of things and speak with Saab about its GlobalEye surveillance aircraft, and take an extensive look around Embraer’s KC-390 military transport. Lots of fun and plenty of Dubai magic hour light to be had.
