Join Gabe as he steps into the A220 full-motion simulator to perform a full flight out of Zurich, from taxi to takeoff, flying a circuit and then coming in for landing before taxiing into the gate (complete with a digital marshaller!) Not being a licensed pilot, it should be an interesting test.

He’s in the capable hands of Murray Balzer today, A220 Pilot Instructor at CAE in Quebec, Canada. Murray walks Gabe through every step, and talks about some of the features unique to the Airbus A220. There’s a lot to learn here, and it’s a fantastic aircraft. So, can Gabe successfully fly this thing and most importantly, bring it in for a landing? Join us to find out.

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
