In this video we take a nice long overnight ride on the KLM 777-200 from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam in business class. Despite being an older plane with an old, inferior business class seat, the overall experience is surprisingly good.
And the engine growl on takeoff reminds us why there’s much to love about classic airplanes. We’ve got northern lights, one of the best airplane breakfasts in recent memory, a beautiful morning approach into Amsterdam with plenty of epic fan blade and wing views, and some nice aircraft on the ground at Schiphol as we taxi. The business class seat is definitely not as good as on KLM’s 787, but just how much of a problem is it? Watch and find out!
Also look for the great deal we came across on Skyclub Dom Perignon using Delta Skymiles. Did you know about this deal, and would you use 13,000 miles on a bottle? Let us know!
