We’re flying with Venezolana on one of the oldest commercial airplanes in the world, YV3471 first delivered in 1978! This one gives you the view forward of the wing, and plenty of amazing whine from the classic JT8D jet engines. We’ll also have the return leg coming soon from the last row of the aircraft, for a great view of those unique thrust reversers!

Our crazy planespotting mission in Tokyo

While we were in Tokyo recently we wanted to find the most exciting way to go planespotting around Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) — and we found it! Instead of sticking to the usual spots, we took a water taxi out onto Tokyo Bay to get up close to the runways.
