Video: Sunrise Air Greenland Dash 8 flight deck ride from Nuuk to Kangerlussuaq

In this video we begin the journey home from Greenland, taking a quick hop on the Dash 8 flight deck jump seat from Nuuk to Kangerlussuaq with Air Greenland. Departing at sunrise we’re treated to spectacular views on the climb out, golden light in the flight deck and on the fjords below throughout the cruise, plus a lovely landing back into Kangerlussuaq.
We again take the chance to chat with the very friendly pilots about their careers and flying in Greenland. This is the penultimate installment (part 7) in the Greenland video series; we’ll be wrapping it up with the A330 flight back to Copenhagen next week. (Recorded in September 2021.)
