Video: A220 everywhere! airBaltic simulator, airside & ops tour plus a flight home in moody weather

In this video we join up with airBaltic at their Riga (RIX) hub and headquarters to take a closer look at the airline and spend a bunch of time on the ramp appreciating the beauty of the A220. We start off with a go in the A220 simulator (in which we manage an iffy-but-likely-survivable landing at Innsbruck), then take a look around the rest of the training center and the operations center.

We then head out for a walk and a drive around the ramp where we spot some unusual planes from points east, watch a few takeoffs and more. Next we get a cabin tour of the A220 from Mr. Gatis Stanga, Senior Cabin Crew, and then we hear from airbaltic CEO Mr. Martin Gauss, who tells us why he has been and continues to be optimistic despite the turmoil of the last couple of years. Last but not least, we hop aboard the A220 once more for the flight home to Stockholm Arlanda, and we enjoy some beautiful scenes out the window while flying through patches of bad weather.
