  1. Love to wear shorts and short sleeve shirt as being too warm is biggest concern regarding comfort. I can always add layers from carry on or get a blanket on the rarest occasions that I fly business class.

  2. Jeans are just horrible on long distance flights. I change into smarter looking sweat pants before boarding then back to jeans immediately on landing.

  3. I always wear combat trousers, socks and normal shoes
    I find them most comfortable

  4. Comfort above all. Comfy sweatpants, soft sweater/hoodie, preferably compression socks. A pair of slippers for WC visits.

  5. Joggers, t-shirt, fleece and pumps in the winter. Shorts, vest, shirt and sandals in the summer.
I always get pulled by security for extra checks if I have a bit of sparkle on my clothes!

  6. Probably not jeans because they I find them a shocking choice for when you’re sitting for a while. I would recommend wearing a jumper and long tracksuit pants, because you’re not going to get too hot in them in a plane, and they are suitable if the weather is chilly when you get outside, and even if it’s warm you can just change at the hotel. That’s my personal preference.

  7. I want to be comfortable but not overly casual since I often travel in the front, and be prepared for varying cabin temperatures, especially when it’s too hot. I am also nostalgic for the day when air travel was special and people dressed up. I wear those nylon pants with lots of pockets for storage, the type you can unzip the legs. I don’t take the legs off but use the zippers for ventilation. I wear a cotton dress shirt with a pocket (see a theme here?) that buttons. Also unbuttons. That being the case I wear a presentable t shirt so if I have to take the shirt off I still look “properly dressed.” I often take leather “driving shoes” for all those trips to the loo, to keep socks from getting wet. In case you’re wondering, I never wear a tie. 😄

  8. Since passengers can be in fires and crashes I start by not wearing nylon or synthetics if possible. Also shorts are a good idea for those emergency slides.
Thicker cotton trousers with lots of pockets and shirts with pockets. Pockets for cell phone, headphone, leads and charger and power pack. Belt pouch for wallet, passport and pen. Wool jersey for those cool long haul nights and hat to keep sun out of eyes.

  9. I won’t travel for more than five hours without a bed so for long journeys I save up for business class. So its pyjamas all the way for me!

  10. I usually were slacks, sports coat and dress loafers to board the flight. I change into the airline provided pajamas onboard prior to departure and have my slacks, dress shirt, and sports coat hung in the closet. If it is a long haul route where the aircraft does not offer F, only Business, I take my pajamas from a previous F flight and change onboard as usual.

  11. O long haul flights I try to bi as comfimortable as possible. But I always put on compression tights under sweetpants.

  12. Pants with some stretch built in.
Guilty of removing trainers as soon as I’m seated.
Under-armor breathable type shirt plus lightweight non bulky sleeved top.
    Dark colors.

  13. Boarding: vest, slacks, shirt and tie. Lightweight Oxfords like Cole Haan Ultragrands.

If I’m sleeping on the flight, I’ll change into a waffle long sleeve and golf pants.

If I’ll be going through immigration somewhere without air conditioning, I’ll change into something cooler an hour before landing.

  14. First, I want all natural fibers! My old traveling drag was khakis & button down shirt. I then switched to cargo shorts with collared shirt for most travels.
Always wear my shoes with wool socks for taxing, takeoff, and landings.
I’ll be sitting up front so if cold weather (like next week’s quick trip to Tokyo) I’ll bring gym shorts to switch out of my Levi’s
    Safe and comfortable traveling

  15. Summer flights: T-shirts & Trackpants. flying light & comfy

Winter flights: T-shirt+Jumper & again trackpants.

Cuz why not? (yes that’s my only comfy flying drip)

  16. Comfortable (flexible) clothes made of natural materials, always socks and cardigan even in hot weather as the air condition often is way too cold.

  17. I stay away from any nylon materials.
Cotton pants with side pockets. Closed runners, shoes. Smart shirt and carry on jacket if need be.

  18. Shorts and comfortable TShirts for long haul flights are ideal. But if you have a stopover, Think about the Country you’re going to be traveling! Etiquette and manners are important considerations

  19. Always wear lots of warm clothes. Planes tend to be very cold.
    Always wear respectable clothing!
