Ural Airlines flight 178 lands in field shortly after take off

Ural Airlines flight 178 made an emergency landing in a field after suffering a bird strike shortly after take off from Moscow’s Zhukovsky International Airport (ZIA) on the morning of 15 August, according to a statement from the airline. No injuries have been reported. Flight 178 was operating from Moscow to Simferopol. (more…)

Flightradar24 data regarding Aeroflot flight 1492

On 5 May, Aeroflot flight 1492 returned to Moscow not long after takeoff after suffering an unknown failure and a hard landing resulting in a large fire. Russian authorities report that 41 people have died.

Saratov Airlines Flight 703 Crashed Outside of Moscow

Saratov Airlines flight 703 crashed approximately six minutes after takeoff from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. The flight was bound for Orsk, about 1500 km southeast of Moscow.
