Playback is here! You can now play back all flights around the world in the Flightradar24 app. You’ll see the new Playback button in the bottom toolbar of the app after updating to the latest version in the App Store or Play Store. Just tap the button, choose a date and time (UTC) and hit start.
Accessing Playback
After updating to the latest version of the app, you’ll now see a new Playback button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the Playback button to open the date and time selector.
Choosing date and time in Playback
Use the selectors to choose the date and time you wish to review. Time is always listed in UTC, so you’ll need to take that into account when choosing the time for a particular location.

The amount of historical data you’ll be able to see is the same in the app as it is on the web, anyone can view the past 7 days. Silver subscribers have access to 90 days, Gold subscribers can view 365 days, and Business subscribers can view 3 years of past flights.
Viewing Playback
Once you tap Start playback, you’ll return to the map screen where you’ll be able to adjust the playback speed anywhere from 1x to 300x real speed. You can also easily slide the time backwards or forwards and tap the calendar icon at any time to select a new date and time.
When holding your device vertically, swipe up on the Playback area to reveal the speed and date picker.
Select any aircraft to see flight details
Tap on any aircraft to view flight information for that flight including flight number/call sign, route, aircraft information, and altitude and speed.
Share playback with others
In the top right corner, tap the Share button to share the area or specific flight in playback.
What’s coming next in Flightradar24 Playback?
Right now, labels and logo icons are not yet available with playback, however, these will be added shortly in a future release.
Check out playback now by making sure you’ve updated to the latest version of the Flightradar24 app and let us know what you think!

Is it possible to find a particular private aircraft by registration number regardless of its location?
