Update on Flightradar24’s extended downtime

We’d like to extend our deepest apologies for the extended downtime over the past few days. Our systems experienced a sustained Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack designed to bring down our services. We are continuing to do everything possible to mitigate the effects of the attack and to harden our systems to reduce the likelihood of future attacks making our services unavailable.

Importantly, this attack was designed to make Flightradar24 unavailable to users and did not compromise any personal information.

For the latest updates on this and other important information we strongly suggest following @Flightradar24 on Twitter.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few days.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@fr24.com and we will be happy to help.
