When you think planespotting paradise, St Maarten (SXM) immediately comes to mind. Our new 24/7 automated camera puts you as close to the action as you can get without actually standing on the beach. This camera is fully automated, using Flightradar24 ADS-B data to precisely track aircraft with a PTZ camera from CamStreamer hosted by Showme Caribbean Live Cams. Just like our live stream in Las Vegas, live ATC audio is included in the stream.
How it works
The camera in St Maarten is located just north of the runway on the east side of the airport. Fully automatic aircraft tracking is provided by the PlaneTracker App from CamStreamer, running on the AXIS Q6318-LE PTZ camera using ADS-B data from Flightradar24 to aim the camera and provide an on-screen overlay so you’ll always know which flight you’re seeing.
Live ATC audio is integrated into the feed, capturing the interaction between pilots and the St Maarten air traffic control tower.
We’re looking for camera hosts

That’s the west end of the runway, not the east.

“..located just north of the runway on the east side of the airport..”
West side.
Why are they taking off and landing down wind now?
We’ve been to St.Maarten over a dozen times. My friends and I were privileged to “Hang on the Fence” before the runway extension! We were picking gravel and sand out of our faces for a month! It was GREAT!
The BEST PlaneTracker App. I have ever watched! I watch it all times of the day and early evening. Keep it going! Tks. Joe D.
Please clean the lens. I was there 13yrs ago. Absolutely loved it
Guys building what ever in the foreground must be hourly. Their progress is painfully slow.
Hope what ever it is doesn’t obstruct our view.
This is fantastic! ATC and data from Flightradar integrated in a livecam. Are there any more of these?
How come there are so many aircraft with n/a labels?
Absolutely superb now, with the ambient sound; the waves, the planes, etc. Bravo!
