Adding a fresh batch of 3D models and liveries

It’s new 3D model and livery time! We’re excited about this fresh batch of liveries and models, not just because they look amazing (thanks to the folks at Infinite Flight), but because we’ve made some changes behind the scenes to make 3D view even better!

With this release, we can now map special liveries directly on to their exact registrations. We’ve started with ANA’s Flying Honu A380s in their colorful blue, green, and orange, plus Air Baltic’s Estonian flag livery A220

Welcome MAX

We’ve also added a brand new model, the Boeing 737-8 MAX. This model currently wears a generic livery, but we’ll be doing more mapping for the aircraft liveries and the MAX in our next release.

There are over two dozen airline + livery combinations in this release. Some of our favorites are the ITY Airways A350, Condor A330neo, and Norse’s 787-9. The full list (and some examples) are below. Happy tracking!

  1. How about adding a B767-400 model with corresponding liveries for DL and UA?

  2. Air New Zealand 787-9 ZK-NZE, 777-300 ZK-OKQ, A321 NEO ZK-NNA, A321 NEO ZK-OYB and some of the other black liveries.

  3. I’m passionate about aviation (the big jets) but I’m scared to fly although I have travelled a lot in my 90 years of life. So I’m a plane watcher really. My last trip was when I was 85 from Orlando to Dubai and from there to my home country of South Africa (Emirates) I say all this because although I’m a very nervous passenger, my elder son recently retired from UPS as a captain flying 747’s. He now trains new 737 airline pilots on Allegiant sim in Orlando. I told him itvwasvquite a stepdown from favourite 747. He was with UPS for around 30 years after a stint at Braniff and Cayman Airways. I love AvTalk and I specially loved watching the FlightRadar24 trip (and the behind scenes) from Jo’burg to Australia. So many memories.
Thank you for keeping me fascinated every day by tracking planes. Just wish I lived near an airport!
    All the very best
    Ruth.

  4. Greetings Aviators.
I would like to see more realism like clouds, snow, rain, gear up and down and flaps.

  5. Great livery package! As an Indian aviation enthusiast, I would like to see the Indigo Airlines livery on the A320s, 21s, ATR-72s and the Boeing 777s which are operated by the airline. Also, would like to see an upgrade of the old Air India livery to the new one. Also, would like to see the Akasa Air livery on the 737s flown by the airline. On the Nepal aviation side of things, I would like to see the Yeti Airlines livery on the DCH-6 Twin Otters which are flown by the airline.

I hope you take my suggestions into consideration for the next release. Thank you so much and keep up the excellent work!

  6. Hi! Yes, cleaning and releasing the chassis is great! I would also like to see the IL-76 and AN-124 models. With God’s blessing!

  7. I would love to see the model for the 727 along with adding wheels to the current model of the 737.

  8. Having the FlySafair liveries would be amazing for those of us in South Africa.

Is there no way to crowd source this so that we can create the liveries ourselves for submission?
