With only about 200 ever built worldwide and far fewer still in service, finding a Fokker 50 to fly can be quite a challenge. But the Fokker 50 is the heart and soul of small Swedish airline Amapola Flyg, which got its start carrying mail and now operates passenger flights to smaller communities throughout Sweden.
Gabriel Leigh recently joined the crew from Amapola for a trip from Stockholm to Hemavan and back. Stay tuned for more on Fokker 50 as Leigh visits the Amapola Flyg maintenance facility.
