Final A380 test flight ends with heartfelt sign off

Emirates is scheduled to take delivery of the final Airbus A380 later this month and today Airbus performed last pre-delivery test flight for the aircraft. The flight departed Airbus’ Hamburg facility for a tour of northeast Germany and left a heartfelt goodbye to the A380 program in the sky.

MSN 272 is scheduled to join the Emirates A380 fleet by the end of 2021 to become the airlines 123rd total A380 delivered to the airline. Emirates has recently retired 2 A380s, including one that is being dismantled in Dubai.
