New Flightradar24 Receivers for the Week of 17 May

This week we activated about 50 receivers, many of which are already helping increase MLAT coverage. We also activated three receivers that will be very helpful in expanding our trans-Atlantic coverage. One new receiver was activated in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, which will help with northern Atlantic coverage. We also activated receivers on the island of Fernando De Noronha off the eastern coast of Brazil and in Dakar, Senegal, which will help with southern-Atlantic coverage.

Here’s the full map of receivers activated this week (click to enlarge).
