In the last two weeks of July we activated over 50 receivers, many of which helped increase our MLAT coverage in areas of China, Brazil, India, and South Africa. Our ADS-B and MLAT coverage areas in the United States continued to grow with new receivers in the south central area of the country. We also added a few receivers that will help with oceanic coverage, like three new receivers in French Polynesia.
Here’s the full map of all receivers activated this week (click to enlarge).

We’re also always looking for new FR24 receiver hosts. If you’re interested in hosting a receiver, you can read more about the application process or apply to host a receiver today.
If you have a Raspberry Pi you can now help us increase MLAT coverage. We are continuing to roll out our beta testing phase of MLAT based on Raspberry Pi receivers. If you’re interested, please visit our forum for instructions on how to begin feeding data.
