In the early morning hours of 19 November, a landing CargoJet 767 operating on behalf of Amazon overran the runway in Vancouver, coming to rest nearly 1/3 of a mile beyond the paved surface with a collapsed nose landing gear. According to Vancouver Airport, there were no injuries to the three crew members aboard the aircraft. Prior to landing the crew had informed air traffic control of a problem with their flaps and that they would be making a faster than normal landing.
CargoJet flight 2387 was operating from Hamilton to Vancouver, departing Hamilton at 05:07 UTC. The aircraft approached Vancouver’s Runway 08L, crossing the runway threshold at a ground speed of 173 knots at 09:28:47 UTC (01:28 local time). The image below notes the ground speed of the aircraft as it progressed down the runway. The aircraft exited the paved runway surface at approximately 109 kt and came to rest 1/3 of a mile beyond the end of the runway.

CargoJet flight W82387 was operated by 767-338(ER)(BDSF) registered C-GAZI (MSN 25576). The aircraft began its life in passenger service with Qantas in 1994 and was acquired by WestJet in 2015. The aircraft was converted to cargo configuration by Bedek in 2021 and entered service with CargoJet in July of that year.
