British Airways and Virgin Atlantic revel in the reopening

The  United States reopens to international travelers 8 November after a 19 month closure. British Airways BA1 and Virgin Atlantic VS3 are celebrating the reopening with dual departures from London’s Heathrow Airport. The flights will launch at the same time bound for New York-JFK at 08:30.

BA1 and VS3 — simultaneous departures

Both flights will be operated by Airbus A350-1000s—the flagship aircraft of both airlines. A350 G-XWBG will operate British Airways flight 1, departing from Runway 27R. G-VJAM will operate Virgin Atlantic flight 3, departing Runway 27L.

Follow the BA1 and VS 3 dual departures

For British Airways search BA1 or G-XWBG. For Virgin Atlantic search VS3 or G-VJAM. Or follow directly on the map below. On Flightradar24.com, choose Multi-select mode on the top right corner to follow both flights at once.
