AvTalk Special Episode: A 737 MAX Update

On this special episode of AvTalk, we welcome The Air Current editor-in-chief Jon Ostrower as we discuss the status of the Boeing 737 MAX and the compendium of reporting that’s come out in the last few weeks. We’re taking a closer look at how the aircraft was developed, what Boeing is doing to get it back in the air, and how the manufacturer is trying to regain the trust of airlines and pilots around the world.

Building on our previous conversations with Jon Ostrower regarding the 737 MAX program, we return to the topic to see what progress Boeing has made since then on returning the aircraft to service.

As we recorded just after the conclusion of the House Aviation Subcommittee hearings that featured testimony from FAA Administrator Elwell and NTSB chairman Sumwalt, we close with reaction to hearing and what we learned from it.

We hope you’ll find this special episode helpful in understanding the 737 MAX situation. As always, we greatly appreciate any feedback you may have.
