Russian airlines keeping leased aircraft
With few exceptions, foreign lessors have been unable to recover their aircraft from Russian airlines. In the face of Bermuda and Ireland suspending the certificates of airworthiness for aircraft on their registry operated by Russian airlines, Russia passed a law allowing airlines to re-register those aircraft.
