The wildlife-related accident stories really highlighted how unpredictable aviation can be, especially when unexpected elements like elk or low-flying aircraft come into play. It’s a reminder of the importance of situational awareness and preparedness in flight operations. Thanks for covering those real-world scenarios that often go unnoticed but are crucial for pilot training and safety protocols.
Each week, I look forward to the AvTalk podcast. But I prefer to read the transcript, than listen. I can read the entire broadcast in less time than listening.
But, for the last 3 or 4 weeks, the link for the transcript is not with the podcast, including today’s.
How do we get the transcript?
My apologies… I kept digging into the AvTalk pages, and found that the transcripts are posted in the days following the FlightRadar email. Today’s transcript is not there, but the other 3 I have not seen are.
Guys, your audience is above average in knowledge of the world of aviation, and at 55 minutes per podcast you are not good stewards of their time. You are turning into entertainers rather than giving us info that is relevant and not available from other sources. Even using 1.5x speed, so much of the programming is click-bait pap. I don’t think you know what your objective of the podcast is, but it’s not evident to me, and using up valuable time will drop you from my perview. Get more serious, respect your audience and cut the time used at least by half. Ron
