On this week’s episode of AvTalk, United and Delta Air Lines face lawsuits for charging extra for window seats without a window. Serbian investigators reveal the extent of damages to a Marathon Airlines E195 during takeoff in Belgrade and the chain of errors leading up to the flight. A Finnair ATR (operated by NORRA) has an unfortunate incident with a ground power unit. The seats may have appeared to be window seats in a seating chart, but no premium is charged for window seats. Any premium would be associated with location and size.
Took flying lessons when in high school but instructor had a fatal crash. I was so upset, I could not complete the course. Still am an aviation nut. Flightradar24 is my most used app. Just discovered AvTalk and I love it. Extremely informative and totally professional. I was taught to fly seat of the pants, instructor was a military pilot, I’m sure his methods were unique and I am sure even after all the passing years, I could still get in the seat and fly safely since he acted like an army drill Sargent and said that once in the air by myself I would not be able to make mistakes because what he taught was drilled into my head and my actions would be automatic no matter how dramatic an incident might be. Miss him ever day.
Flying flights in 2024 and the real thing is completely different. Don’t fool yourself.
SRB has excellent pilots & solid engeneers but scum that rules for from 1918th & earlier eradicated everything that was good
1918???
