Ryanair has announced a large order for up to 300 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft, the highest single order number for the largest member of the MAX family to date. This order makes Ryanair the second largest prospective customer for the MAX 10 after United Airlines. The MAX 10 is currently undergoing with certification with completion now slated for 2024. Deliveries to Ryanair will begin in 2027 and run through 2033.
Ryanair’s 737-10 aircraft will have 228 seats, perfect for increasing capacity on the Irish low-cost carrier’s higher demand routes. The new aircraft will help replace older 737-800s as well as drive Ryanair’s growth strategy. The airline has said it plans to fly 300 million passengers per year by 2034.

The deal between Ryanair and Boeing has been in the works for some time, with pricing being a key driver in the airline’s choice between ordering the upcoming MAX 10 or additional MAX 8-200’s. Michael O’Leary clarified the situation in March 2023, stating: “If they give us a good discount on the extra 30 seats, we’re more likely to take MAX 10s. If they don’t give us a good discount on the extra seats, we’re more likely to go with additional MAX 200s.”
How to track Ryanair’s 737 fleet on Flightradar24
You can track the Ryanair fleet using a custom filter on the new Flightradar24 website (and soon in the Flightradar24 mobile app). Click filters, then Airline, then Ryanair and choose both options.

In the Flightradar24 app, select Filters, Airline, then search Ryanair.
If you would like to track the all currently active 737 MAX aircraft, simply head to the ‘Aircraft’ filter, and enter the following aircraft codes.
B37M,B38M,B39M. As the 737-10 MAX begins flying, you’ll add B3XM.

But MAX are not safe aircrafts, having claimed so many lived in two crashes caused by mechanical failures
But then Ryanair=Boeing loyalist, and Boeing of airlines, without any crash (yet) on the world’s unsafest plane
The stigma of the 737 Max aircraft will not go away, there needs to be a lot more safety information about this aircraft’s stability and recovery before I buy a ticket to fly in one.
I think Ryanair are chancing their luck when they could take a safer route with Airbus.
Nah, Ryanair was always about efficiency, efficiency and efficiency. They can’t handle a -4000fpm landing with an A320, and if they butter the bread, they need to increase turnaround time.
Agree to this statement. Ryanair need to move to Airbus.
Not a chance I will ever set foot on a Max anything, I have been booking my flights on
airlines that only have airbus and if like last year a boeing plane was substituted for an A330 I immediately contacted the airline and switched my flights back to AB had to switch days but avoided boeing. As far as I’m concerned the management of boeing should all be in prison and the company dissolved. These guys have the nerve to sell stock now to raise 19B in capital to keep running after losing 6B in a quarter? who in their right mind would buy that stock?
