Airbus and Boeing 2021 Orders and Deliveries

Airbus and Boeing reported their full year orders and deliveries for 2021 this week and we thought it would be interesting to break down the numbers and see how you can track some of the more notable deliveries from the year.

Airbus 2021 Deliveries

Airbus delivered a total of 611 aircraft in 2021, with the A320neo and A321neo making up the bulk of aircraft that went to airlines.

Notable Airbus deliveries to follow

Last A380 delivery

On 16 December Emirates took home the final A380 produced. MSN 272 registered A6-EVS is the last new A380 delivery as Airbus leaves four-engine aircraft behind.

Last Delta A320ceo-family aircraft

On the same day as the final A380 delivery in Hamburg, Airbus also delivered its final A320ceo family aircraft from its Mobile, Alabama assembly line. A321-200 (MSN 10315) registered N129DN went to Delta Air Lines. From here on, only New engine option aircraft in the A320 family will be delivered by Airbus.

Boeing 2021 Deliveries

Boeing delivered 340 aircraft in 2021, the vast majority of which were 737 MAX. Additionally, 65 percent of widebodies delivered to airlines were dedicated cargo aircraft.

Notable Boeing deliveries to follow

Last 777-200LR

Turkmenistan Airlines took delivery of the final 777-200LR, bringing their fleet total to three.

First 737-8-200 MAX

Ryanair finally gets its first MAX. The airline, which currently has 210 total MAX orders, finally took delivery of the first 737-8-200, the high density version of the MAX.
