New Pacific Airlines announced it will cease regular flights as of April 5th. At the moment, the company only operates between Ontario and Nashville with its Boeing 757-200, after suspending the route from Ontario to Reno on March 22nd.
Why is the low-cost carrier canceling scheduled services?
New Pacific will focus exclusively on charter flights in order to continue operations and improve profitability. The airline has been offering charters for the last couple of months, but in a mix with regular flights.
New Pacific’s scheduled operations have been running for less than a year, since their start-up was in July 2023.
