Following a 20-year suspension, Qantas resumed its regular services to Paris Charles de Gaulle on Saturday, July 13th.
The Australian airline will operate four weekly flights on the Sydney – Perth – Paris route with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which are configured for 236 passengers in three seating classes (Business, Premium Economy and Economy).
Paris becomes Qantas’ third destination in Europe, after London LHR and Rome.

Iberia, the global launch customer for the Airbus A321XLRs, has confirmed the first destinations from Madrid’s Barajas airport for these jets, which will enter service in November.

Lufthansa City Airlines began services last June 26th, with the first operation between Munich and Birmingham. The aircraft, registered D-AIJI, departed at 09:32 local time for BHX, where it arrived at 10:02 local time following a 90-minute flight.
Birmingham, Bremen, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hannover are its current destinations from Munich, and Berlin, Hamburg and Bordeaux will be added as of July 23rd, with the introduction of the second Airbus A319.
In the long term, Lufthansa City plans to add Airbus A220-300s, of which it has already placed an order for a total of 40, to be delivered from 2026.
At 14:10 local time on July 1st, the first scheduled Qatar Airways operation from Doha landed in Hamburg. The company, in accordance with our database, will offer a daily flight on this route using Boeing 787-8s.
