Norse takes a gamble on Las Vegas

Norse Atlantic Airways confirmed it will begin operations to a new U.S. city in September. These flights will be carried out with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft seating 338 passengers.

Currently, the airline, which has multiple bases in Europe, will add its fifth route from London Gatwick to the United States as of September 12th. Las Vegas will enter Norse Atlantic Airways UK’s regular schedule with seasonal services.

According to its website, the company will offer three weekly until the end of winter 2024/25. At the time of publication, the last flight is scheduled for March 27th, 2025.

Las Vegas has four regular connections to Europe, between five airports. In addition to London, with Gatwick and Heathrow, it has operations to/from Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Zurich.

On the London – Las Vegas route, Norse will be competing with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic. As for British, the airline operates to the U.S. city from both London airports, while Virgin only from/to Heathrow.

There are currently 19 flights per week between the two cities, based on our database. Further changes may appear in the schedule, considering the upcoming summer and winter.
