As of March 22nd, 2025, Malaysia Airlines will resume scheduled operations between Kuala Lumpur and Paris Charles de Gaulle using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The company will commence with four weekly services, increasing to daily from March 29th, 2025.
With the start of CDG, Malaysia will reach 68 destinations across its route network, which is mainly located in Asia. According to our database, London Heathrow is its only regular passenger route to Europe (14 flights a week), in addition to offering cargo operations to Amsterdam from Kuala Lumpur via Doha with MASkargo’s Airbus A330-200Fs.

Malaysia Airlines’ last services to Paris had been in January 2016.

KLM added its first Airbus A321neo
Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij took delivery of its first A321neo on August 27th. The aircraft, registered PH-AXA, arrived in Amsterdam at 14:53 local time from Hamburg, new from the factory.
Between September 5th and the 14th, the Airbus performed several test flights, mainly at Aarhus Airport, Denmark, as can be seen through our website.
The first scheduled service of KLM’s Airbus A321neo departed AMS on Monday, September 16th at 07:54 local time to Copenhagen, covering flight KL 1267. For now, Copenhagen, Berlin and Stockholm will be the regular routes for the airline’s A321neo.

Korean Air arrives in Lisbon with charter flights
On September 11th, the carrier began operations to Portugal, with new services between Seoul Incheon and Lisbon. Korean Air will offer three weekly flights on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes, with a capacity of 278 passengers in two classes.
Austria, Czechia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Türkiye and the United Kingdom are its markets on the European continent.

Recently, the Spanish airline, the first to take delivery of an A321XLR, updated its route network, confirming flights with these aircraft within Europe as of October 26th.
London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle will be its first two destinations, both to/from Madrid. Services to the United States will start on November 14th, with Boston and Washington DC as routes.

New route to Asia?
Air Serbia intends to launch its second scheduled destination to China, with the Belgrade – Shanghai Pudong route. According to its website, on April 1st, 2025 will be the airline’s first flight between the two cities, to be operated by Airbus A330-200s.

Effective October 28th, Austrian will resume operations between Linz and Frankfurt following a 20-year suspension. At the time of publication, the airline will perform three frequencies per day on this route with ATR 72-500 aircraft of Braathens Regional Airline.
Austrian Airlines and Braathens entered into a wet-lease cooperation agreement last February to enable the Austrian company to maintain certain regional operations, which were not profitable on aircraft configured with more seats.
British
British Airways plans to increase its services between London and North America from March, April and June 2025. These flights will be operated to/from Heathrow, as follows:

The aircraft, which has the registration D-ALFL, departed Everett at 14:14 local time for Frankfurt, where it arrived on Saturday 17th after a ferry flight of 9 hours and 8 minutes.
This Boeing 777 was named “¡Hola Argentina!”, entering service on August 28th with flight LH 8290 between FRA and Cairo.
