After a four-year suspension due to the pandemic, Hainan Airlines resumed its services to Vienna in the Austrian capital. The first flight arrived on May 29th at 07:33 local time from Shenzhen, following an eleven-hour flight.
Hainan will offer two operations per week on this route with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft configured for 289 passengers (2,600 monthly seats on each leg).

United Airlines launched non-stop flights between San Francisco and Barcelona last May 23rd. Operations will have a daily frequency, to be carried on 275-seat Boeing 777-200(ER) jets.
The two cities will have 12 weekly services by summer 2024, including seven flights of United and the remaining five of Level, which operates using Airbus A330-200s.
Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife South are the Spanish cities served by United Airlines (during summer season).
On May 30th, Norse Atlantic Airways commenced its first route in the U.S.-Greece market.
The airline will perform five flights a week between New York JFK and Athens with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes with a capacity of 338 passengers.
Norse operates to JFK from Berlin, London LGW, Oslo, Paris CDG and Rome, in addition to Athens, reaching more than 40 weekly services to/from New York with all its connections.
