Delta taps holiday-makers with Tampa-Amsterdam resumption

After a four and a half year suspension, Delta Air Lines will resume transatlantic flights from Tampa. Operations will be performed during the winter season, with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

The airline will have services between Tampa and Amsterdam beginning October 26th. As reported in the press release, Delta will offer a daily frequency through April 2025 since it will be a seasonal route, at the time of publication.

Tampa will become the U.S. carrier’s tenth connection in Amsterdam, following Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Orlando (MCO), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA). The operations from/to Orlando are carried out during winter, and the rest are year-round.

“By seamlessly linking Amsterdam’s vibrant international hub—Delta’s most-served airport in Europe—with Tampa Bay’s renowned beaches, Delta is offering customers a gateway to explore the best of Europe and America,” said Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. “With our premium amenities and extensive global network, travelers will have a lot to enjoy during the winter travel season.”

According to our database, Delta Air Lines currently has 119 weekly flights to/from the Netherlands capital:
