Video: ATR 72 adventure to the most distant Canary Island [a stunning day trip!]

Play Video
In this video we fly from Tenerife Norte (TFN) to El Hierro (VDE), the westernmost of the Canary Islands and the last point in Spain out in the ocean (next land, the Americas) onboard the Binter Canarias ATR 72.

Then after cruising around the island for a day we turn around and fly right back. This quick 30-minute flight cruises at around 10,000 feet most days and departed right at sunrise, so it includes stunning views of the islands and a couple of the Canarian volcanoes – Tenerife’s Mount Teide and a somewhat more distant view of the eruption that was ongoing at the time on La Palma. We get a look at what it’s like onboard the ATR 72 and perform the fastest taxi we’ve ever experienced on any plane (what’s the max taxi speed for an ATR anyway?) So please join us on this, the last installment in our Canary Islands flight video series, and let us know what you think!

Don’t miss the video from the previous flight on Binter Canarias’ E195 E2 from Zaragoza!

Video: Flying Iberia’s lie-flat A330 business class

In this video we take a wide-body in business class from Stockholm to Madrid. Iberia’s once-a-week A330 service on the route means business class gets the fully lie-flat seats usually reserved for international services.
